New logo

We have a brand new logo!

We were inspired by the “yin yang” symbol, which describes how polar forces are interconnected and interdependent in the natural world and how they give rise to each other in turn.

Yin and yang are complementary opposites that interact within a greater whole, as part of a dynamic system.

The link with the Belgo-Chilean Chamber of Commerce is rather obvious: Chile and Belgium are two very different countries located in opposite sides of the globe and the Chamber is the mean for these nations to reach an interdependent and dynamic system. As a result of this intimate interaction the chamber becomes a bridge between Belgium and Chile and eventually a liaison between Europe and South America.

The new logo fully reflects this goal as both halves of the symbol represent the flag of Belgium and Chile respectively. In addition, each half contains a bit of the other half. The Chilean flag contains the European Union’s flag, meaning that Chilean firms and institutions will reach the European continent through Belgium. Conversely, the Belgian flag contains the Chilean coat of arms, meaning that Belgian firms and institutions will reach South America through Chile.
